You are normal then because our Lord’s family line was far from perfect. Remember he was like us in all ways but sin. He knows the emotions felt by tension within and outside the family. Our Lord gets it, do we? The School of Love in ASL is a great video to reflect on our lives and how we view and understand the family. Cmon’ if we get the family right – we get most things right. We are all wanting of a family, let alone a decent modest family that has some respect, dignity, but most importantly has love somewhere mixed in.
