In the American Sign Language profession:

Generally every 20-25 minutes a team of two interpreters work together and switch-off in intervals. For long days of a single speaker or multiple speakers (speaking at the same time in different locations), it will require 3-4 teams, 6-8 interpreters.

Is there an already designated area that you have set aside for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing to gather? (This normally is in the front row in accordance with the American Disability Act (ADA), 1990 *

Please explain what efforts are currently being made to ensure the Deaf & Hard of Hearing have a suitable space for their needs. (What section number, isles, rows have been reserved for them?) Are there any signs or postings that indicate to the Deaf / H-o-H where to go once they have arrived to find their seating? *

Large events with a multitude of Deaf & Hard of Hearing present generally requires for Assisted Listening Devices to be offered. Will you allow for two easy-up-tents to be setup to signal for the Hard of Hearing to pick up an Assisted Listening Device? *

I understand that in requesting an ASL interpreter: We kindly ask for a donation of 150$ to be given to the parish church where the services will be held. The church will give the donation to the interpreter. Your donation suits the occasion, time, and expertise in this special field. If you feel inclined to give a subsequent donation on the day of the services, you may give it to the interpreter directly. Is this agreeable to you?

We cannot gaurantee that we will be able to arrange for one of the approved interpreters that the Diocese of Orange recognizes to do the services you are requesting. If we are able or not able to make the arrangement, we will let you know. If you are supplying your own interpreter we kindly ask that they consult with us well-in-advance to-go-over liturgical customs and practices we adhere to. Is this clear and agreeable to you? *

A two week minimum notification is appreciated so that we can properly plan the funeral of your loved one.

Interpreters:

According to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III, the funeral home, as a place of public accommodation, has the responsibility to provide interpreting services for the Deaf. (This applies if you are doing the funeral service at the funeral home, not at the Church).
