15th Sunday (C)
Fr. Michael Depcik offers us a reflection of our Lord’s words to us on the 15th Sunday of Ordinary time year C in American Sign Language. The Archdiocese of Washington gives us the readings in ASL.

Videos in American Sign Language (ASL) are at your fingertips! We hope that our collection of Catholic-Christian songs, sermons, and hymns strengthen your relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Use, share, and spread these resources. Deaf Church Ministries in the USA are indebted to the brothers and sisters in Christ who have made these resources available. These resources aid any kind of meetup in the church. Moreover, they are extremely helpful in preparing for church services. They also can be used for an online service or in-person instructional setting. They can also be used for learning ASL religious music.
Deaf Ministry Videos

We are in a process of making songs, hymns, sermons, and all of our church services available online. Please pray that we are able to make these available long term. We can’t thank you enough for your generous donation to make such possible.
If you would to take an active role in making ASL Songs or hymns click here. Everyone is available to view other videos listed below.

Deaf ministry is growing at a fast pace. Why? Because more and more dioceses are addressing the needs of Deaf Catholics. The growth in parishes offering sacramental preparation creates the need to be in contact with one another. Having a phone number or email address helps a little bit but not really. Vision is important for Deaf and Hard of hearing people. So that is why being able to see where the Deaf churches are is important. By listing and mapping where every church is in the world we hope to be a beacon to dioceses worldwide with regards to Deaf ministry. Who knows who will use this feature in the world to make it better or develop something else more exquisite.
Fulfilling spiritual needs
Fulfilling the spiritual needs of so many Deaf is a huge task. It means knowing a little bit about Deaf culture and their world. Better yet it means knowing a lot about OUR world, the Deaf world. Our world needs vision. We need empowerment, a place to meet, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Empowerment is a dear term for us. Taking ownership of something and being given liberty to do cultivate our own is part of empowerment. It is being given all permission and approval but in keeping with what is honest, good, and true to make our lives live-able, enjoyable, and life-giving.
Church
Church provides us to a place to meet and access to our Lord Jesus Christ. His gifts, wishes, and zeal are given to others AND to us. He wants us to prosper. He wants us to be empowered so as to reach other Deaf and Hard of Hearing Catholics. But it does not stop there. He wants to go beyond to meet and preach the gospel. In his name we are conduits of His love. Where we go, how we live, and how we worship are indicators of our love to Jesus and His love toward us. It is a special bond of love. We want you have a map to be able to find Jesus anywhere in the world. Whether it is an American Sign Language mass or a mass said in any other sign language you will be able to find a place to go.
Find a Deaf church can be simple. Type in ‘ASL Catholic’ or ‘ASL mass’ in a search engine will provide you with a list of results. But, you will not find anything like what we have composed for you here. We provide the map, name of the church, and contact details.
